With the drought in full swing and not an end in sight to the heat... everything is a bit brown and crunchy around here.
I couldn't resist adding a touch of color to my world today. :)
They are so pretty..
I should do this more often! :)

It certainly can't hurt (to do it more often).
They are very pretty. :)
If we were neighbors you would always find fresh flowers on your fence post in the morning! ;-)
Dave from MN
Thanks Linda! I'm really enjoying them. Didn't know a handfull of flowers could make such a difference in my day. :)
Dave that does it, I'm heading to the neighbor's to see if they will sell. lol
Thanks friend, hope all is well in your neck of the woods. :)
Those are beautiful. I wonder what they are! Good treat for yourself.
Thanks Mrs JP, they are still so pretty. :)
The store sticker says "godetia" in one spot and "gerbera" in another. I need to google them to see what they are.
Nice, hope they last a few days in that heat.
Don't look to Gerbera's to me, google images indicates these are indeed Godetia or Summerazalea, never had hearded of Godetia's, before.
d.
Thanks Donald! I have them in the house, right where I can see them. :)
I'm pretty sure I'll be treating myself to flowers more often. lol
Thanks for the info! :)
Perfection!
I am getting the first colour on my indoor plants. One pepperpod has turned red for the bottom halve, yeah. My folks always have a few orchids in the windowsill A mix of white and pink ones. Good to hear they brought some colour into your life among the browns outside.
Thanks Joe! :)
When I saw them in the store I just couldn't resist. They are still as pretty today as the day I brought them home.
I can see me doing this again in the near future. lol
Thanks Joe... :)
Donald I bet your indoor plants are beautiful! Also your parents orchids.. that's something I've never tried keeping, but I love em.
Thanks Donald! :)
instant landscaping!
lol Chris... It really brightened up the place. I should get more of them. :)
