Smoked Beef Ribs

This is just some more Memorial weekend pics....
Smoked some beef ribs on my horzontal wood burner.
I like beef ribs the best and do not like to use a heavy rub or sauce on them so I just rub with olive oil and season with cracked black pepper and kosher salt.

I brushed some with Qsauce and served the rest with sauce on the side...

They disappeared pretty fast. lol

Also went through a couple batches of biscuits and gravy over the weekend. It's an easy-to-make breakfast for a crowd.

Thank you Gene!!
Beef bones are one of my favorites. Biscuits and gravy are really easy to make for a crowd of people too. :)

The ribs look really good. When we do beef ribs we marinate them in soy sauce, garlic and cilantro. They're really good that way too.
Your site always makes me hungry :O)

I really like the way my wood burner smokes beef ribs. They've got to be my all time favorites. :)

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE BEEF T COOK IN THE SMOKER

Hi Pastor,

I usually smoke my beef ribs on my horizontal wood burner, but when I use the drum smoker, I keep the temperature low. Around 275 and smoke the ribs for 3 hours or so.

I watch for the meat on the ribs to pull back from the bone. When at least an inch of bone is showing, the ribs are usually ready.
Hope this helps!!
