My favorite sauce for rellanos.....saute 1/2 medium onion (chopped) and 1 clove of minced garlic in 1 TBS of oil until tender.
Add 2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
Simmer for 10 minutes
