There are no camp sites at the lake so it was pretty quiet. Especially for a holiday weekend. (labor day)
Someone had dug a nice firepit, but I used my tractor rim for cooking....
I arrived at the lake a bit late so supper was not that fancy... just some fried potatoes with onions, t-bones and sauteed mushrooms with butter and garlic....
I was so sleepy on the first night of camping, I ate my supper and crawled into my tent early. :)

Hey Cowgirl, what's that. That over there by the lake, is that a coyote chasing a roadrunner? Right there, see? Oh, nevermind, I must have been mistaken.
Steak? What steak? There was I steak on your plate? I didn't notice.
I swear I didn't take it. It wasn't me:)
lolol!! Chris!! You are too funny!
Thanks for the laugh!
Jeanie, the not so fancy suppers look pretty fancy to me. Nothing wrong with fried spuds and T-bone.
lol Thanks Mark! I guess when I think of fancy, I think of crab legs and steak. You're right though...t-bones and spuds are hard to beat. :)
Hope you are doing well, I know you are keepin' busy with your house. I'll be sure to send some sunshine up there for your cement work. lol
That looks like a primo spot! Of course the food always looks good - you're the outdoor cooking queen!
As always Jeanie, I sit here droolin over the pics of your meals....looks fantastic!!
