If you are interested in raising your own shrimp, canning, smoking and preserving your own meat, fishing or sitting around a good camp fire.....we might be related. :)
Nice! I love catfish. We went camping over the weekend also and hubby caught a small mouth bass, maybe about 10". I caught a tiny shiner. The last time we went, he caught a catfish. It was good eating!
I love catfish but don't have a clue how to clean them. Oh, and I just remembered - the noises them make. I'd have to knock them in the head toot sweet! JP has been wanting to make fish tacos,,,those look like they'd make a good taco.
Mark, I'm starting to feel sorry for you! No catfish...no armadillos to chase, no scorpions or tarantulas to play with. Christmas is coming up, I'll see what I can catch between now and then to send to ya. (lol)

Those are channel cats. The flatheads are a lot bigger here though.
