I'm really lovin' these peaches :)

added lemon juice, pectin and then the sugar....I just followed the pectin instructions.
into the water bath canner for 10 minutes...
Gave it the cracker taste test....
Mmmmm... going to be nice on a hot biscuit this winter. :)
Looks really good. What a nice taste of summer you will have in the middle of winter. I need to get some peaches while they are still at the roadside stands around here and try to do the same.
Ooohhh Jeanie...This looks wonderfull! My Granma and my aunts used to make the most increadable jams and jellys. I miss them so much! I've never tried canning myself but you make it look pretty easy. I think I might have to give it a try. I have a farmers market outside my front door every Sunday. So I really have no excuse right. By the way...I thought YOU were the sweetest thing on this site. ;)
It looks very tasty, Now Im going to have to try to make some jelly again. I tried to make jelly with some cactus fruit a few weeks ago, didnt quite turn out like jelly but made some great syrup!
lol Jay I'm not sure if I have your address but if you send it to me I will definately send some jam to you. :) The Colorado peaches are awesome! Thanks Jay..
Looks good Jeannie. No garden for me this year means no canning, no salsa, no chipoltes,no fresh toms or sweet corn but I can always stop here for a refresher! Haven't been by in awhile hope all is well. Hunting season starts soon and then I can fire the smoker back up.
Hi Bushman, it's good to see you! Sorry about your garden. I'm ready for hunting season too. :) Still have some dove and venison that I need to use first though. Hope all is going well with you, Thanks for stopping by!

Mmmm - peach preserves - my favorite. In fact, I'm smoking 2 chickens today with a peach glaze.
