The "icky" white thing in the pasture

I'm not even sure if anyone notices the big white thing in most of my pasture pictures.
This is a closer look. :)

It's a condensate tank from a well...

It's pretty big and pretty icky... so of course I had to climb to the top. lol

I wish I wouldn't have touched these pipes, but with me....getting dirty was inevitable..

I'm not really sure how tall the tanks are.

You can see pretty far, but then again I could see pretty far from ground level. :)

and now you know what those little white things in the pasture are.

Sorry!
There's two minutes of your life that you'll never get back. lol

First of all, that last picture is stunning. The colors are beautiful.
Secondly, let me tell you what my mom and her sisters would do. They'd get up their little paints and go and paint a flower garden with a wagon wheel and a bucket or some such thing. They'd say it's a no pressure thing...just paint what you like. So get your creative juices flowing and paint it. What'll it hurt! My mom and dad's barn looks like someone's flower garden.

That's a great idea Mrs JP!
I bet your Parent's place is beautiful!! :)
They need to visit me.. I have plenty of things they could paint. lol

I count twenty steps, at let's say 25 centimeters height difference between each (10") that would make for 5 meters to the platform and around 20 feet to the top of the tanks.

You're not from Beaumont, so it ain't an oil well, but google tells me it is a gas (and not a water) well in your yard;-). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmuVK0_kFfA

Guess they are still in use, if not they would have been turned into a giant smoker by now, lol.

cheers, donald
