Another Nice Day
The barrel cactus are in bloom....
Also the indian blankets.....
It looks like the wind has been keeping these yucca plants busy.....
As I mowed 5 acres near Shawnee this week I thought, it is too hot here. However, seeing things in bloom in this heat does make somewhat more livable. Nice pics!
Hey Thanks Anonymous! I imagine you are getting a lot of hot weather and humidity in your area. Sounds like the next couple of days it will be well above 100 degrees. Hope you keep safe and cool!
Jeanie Those are some nice pics, the sky shot is outstanding. It's a nice day in Oklahoma, because your there!!(now maybe I'll get an invite to next cookout).LOL
Hi Nick, Thank you! I love your blog too. Your pictures are great. I've never been to NZ... it looks beautiful down there. You did a nice job on those gloves too. You're missing out on a lot of hot weather here... I don't think Tenneessee is getting it quite as bad as Oklahoma right now, but I'm sure the 100 degree weather will hit them soon too.
Nice pictures. Here in NE Kansas we don't have any cactus that bloom, or if we do I haven't ran across them yet. But we do have the Indian Blankets and yucca plants. Glad your days are ice, ours have been hot and hotter.
Born and raised in the country, I Love wide open spaces.
Enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, and any form of outdoor cooking, hot, warm and cold smoking. Preserving what I hunt, catch, raise or forage. I enjoy being able to provide food for my table.
I'm thankful for each day and will never take anything for granted.

Wow, the yucca look like they've been doing the windshield wiper wave. Those indian blanket flowers are beautiful.

It does look like they have been keeping busy Mrs JP! They look a lot shorter than the tallest mark...the wind is wearing them away.
Thank you, Hope you have a great weekend too! :)
