Glad to see you survived the trip in one piece Jeanie. The big city aint no place for a country girl.

When I saw your post I had this irresistible urge to sing "Home, home on the range. Where the deer and the antelope play...." Sorry, now you'll have that tune in your head for a while. Well, there are worse songs. Glad you had a good time and glad you're home.

"There's no place like home"....any chance that you know where the author of "The Wizard of Oz" is from??

Hey Anonymous, I DO know where the author was from.
A sweet person from NY state told me. :)

Mr. L. Frank Baum was from Chittenango NY.
You wouldn't happen to be from NY state would you?
