Time for a trim

First I need to let you know that my hair is pretty much wash and wear. I can jump out of the shower and let it dry in the breeze. No cutting, curling, coloring, or treating with chemicals.

Once or twice a year I head to my favorite hair salon for a trim.
My hair is long........when it starts getting in my way I take my scissors out to the pasture and remove a few inches. :)

These pictures are actually the after shots.
Do you know how hard it is to catch a picture of the back of your head?

I leaned over to the side and snapped a pic...

the bottom..... it was even, the breeze was blowing it around. lol

It's still long...probably too long. It's just above my waist. I'm good for another 6 months or so. lol

Wow, with that much off and it's still above your waist, that's long!
I don't use anything for my hair either. Just wash with shampoo and towel dry and then just let it air dry.

Jeanie,
A few inches, looks like you cut off over a foot.lol.Do you donate your hair to "Locks of Love"?(kids with cancer). They make hair pieces for them.
Does your camera have a timer on it?
If ya need help with a pic, let me know I'll come take one for ya!!

Shoot OTT, I DO need someone to hold the camera for me. lol
I have not donated to locks of love but probably will sometime.

I let the breeze scatter my hair across the pasture.

It's interesting when I see a shiny strand of hair intertwined in a meadowlark's nest in the middle of the pasture. lol

Thanks Gene! lol

I'll be heading back out there in a few months. My hair seems to grow pretty fast!

I'm a wash n wear girl too and guess what? Today, I trimmed my hair! Of course, I only took of an inch and it's to my shoulders. By the way, kudos on getting those shots of your hair. There must've been quite the breeze going. Also, your hair color is beautiful you don't need any treatments.

Thank you Mrs JP!

That is amazing that you cut your hair today too! lol Did you get any pictures?
It was darned tricky getting these shots....they aren't the best but I tried. lol

Thank you for the kind words Mrs JP...you are too sweet!

Well I don't know Jeanie, it must be hair week or something. Last night my sister in law lobbed a bunch off for me also. It was getting pretty shaggy. Mine ended up in the garbage can, so I don't know what the birds are going to do for a nest. lol.

lol! Mark,
Must be something in the air. Maybe we're all getting ready for a hot summer. :)

When your birds fly south they can use my nests. lol

It's funny. My grandma used to bag up our hair when we were little because she said if a bird got ahold of it and ussed it for it's nest you'd have headaches... Makes you wonder where some of these old "wives tales" came from. You have beautifull hair Jeanie. Any bird would be lucky to have some of your shimmering locks!
