Fried Green Tomato BLT with Bufalo Chipotle Mayo

I've been canning green tomatoes for frying this winter and decided to fry up a couple for supper.

How I make Fried Green Tomatoes

I brushed the top of the bun with melted butter, then sprinkled with kosher salt, minced onions and some herbs to make it special. :)

Mixed a bit of Bufalo brand chipotle sauce with mayo and slathered the lid. It had a bit of a kick to it.

I kicked off my shoes, curled up on the couch with a pillow and my sandwich...it was just what I needed, kind of a comfort meal. :)

I know it had to tast good it has bacon and mayo on it. Your jelley looks great! We made some possum grape jelley this year it is so good my favorite! Hope your arms are mending well! We are starting to feel a touch of autum in the air. Bow season will soon be hear can hardly waite to be hunting again. Hope you have a blessed day! Your friend Mark:)

Those 'maters look soooooo GOOD!
It is really too bad "city folks" never get to sample "country folks" comfort food...:) I'll have to try them your way, I just use flour and a wash....and no bun etc...
Hope ya have a good week.

Hi Mark, Thanks! :)

Right above the first picture is a link to the green tomato recipe. I use an egg milk wash, flour, cornmeal, garlic powder and panko bread crumbs to make them crunchy. I like crunch. :)
Thanks about the jelly too. I bet your grape jelly is awesome! The grapes didn't make this year... it was too dry here.
Glad to hear your area is cooling down Mark, that must feel pretty good. I'm sure ready for hunting season too.
Thanks again Mark! :)

I will admit to having never tried fried green tomatoes.
This sandwich looks too good to pass up so I guess there are some fried green maters in my future!

You sure have my mouth watering for one, or maybe two of these. Never thought of putting them on a sandwich. Great idea!
