The horses know exactly where I'm heading.... they try to beat me to the windmill.
The horses get to pick their favorite spots while the cows line up along the unrolled hay bale where ever they can fit in.
The last windmill repair is still holding. With any luck it will last another year or two. :)

Glad to hear the repair is holding.
The horses are funny, racing you like that.
Guess they all want to pick their spot. :)
Ahhh pictures of home where there's handsom cowboy behind every tree....LOL Bud.........
We all know the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Clearly it works for animals too!

Thank you Linda! So far the windmill is looking good. :)
Those horses are silly. Someday I'll pull into the pasture and just watch them run to the windmill...then I'll pull back out and drive off. lol See what they do then. :)
Haha Buddy, I see you've been to my part of Oklahoma. (j/k)
Thanks for the laugh. :)
lol Dave, it must be true!! Thanks. :)
Looks like slim pickins other than the hay. Who stole all your grass, neighbor? ;)
Hey SG...good to see ya! Hope the world is treatin' you well. :)
You need to send some rain my way so the grass will grow. lol
The critters actually have a lot of grass available to them at the far end of the pasture..they just don't want to walk that far! :)
Good to see ya. :)
The cows and horses all look pretty happy Jeanie. Glad to hear the windmill is working good for ya. I need one of those things. I see the odd one kicking around on some farms up my way, but I very seldom see any of them in use. I'll probably end up with a more modern day one (wind turbine) eventually.
Hey CG do not forget to pick up those strings from the bailing twine.
I'll never forget spending hours cutting out a mess of bailing twine from the bailer that got sucked up in the small bailer, and the tetter and the rake as well.
I hated picking up the stings but cutting the out more.

Just another reason I never cross the red river. In TEXAS we have our horses run TO us not away from us...
Gotta admit that it's nice to see such nice grazing land that isn't chocked full of mesquite (even if it is on the wrong side of the river).
God bless neighbor!
Thanks Mark! :)
I like the windmill, it takes a little TLC from time to time but it's still going strong.
Great idea on the turbine, just what you need for your place. Hope you are doing well, it's good to see ya. :)
Good advice Jim! Aren't they a pain! I agree, cutting them out of equipment is no fun. lol
The bales I get are wrapped in more of a netting. It's still a pain to gather up. I have a few sitting in the back of the pick up right now that I need to do something with. lol
Thanks Jim! :)
lol Kevin, you need to cross that border more often. Some of are not so bad up here. :)
Oh how animals love habits! Really, who doesn't love a good rut to be in? I surely do.
lol I hadn't thought of it like that Mrs JP! Thanks. :)
