Former Georgia Senator and Governor Zell Miller had a stirring speech about the sacrifice of soldiers: “For it has been said so truthfully that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the agitator, who has given us the freedom to protest. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives that protester the freedom to abuse and burn that flag.”
Thank you....I appreciate what you have done and are still doing for me, my family and my friends.

No truer words where ever spoken! It was my Honor to have served my country, I salute all Vets past and present and their families. It is we who are in your debt.
Craig, mere "thanks" can not express what I feel. You and veterans like you are my true heros....
(((HUG)))
Amen,,,Thank you is such a small token for all the armed forces families do. But, well said and good post.
I like Zell and he did a good job as Georgia's governor. His commits are dead own and if it weren't for our military we would have no rights. Now is time for all our citizens to come together and take back the rights that have been taken from us in the last 100 years!
Thank you Mrs JP!
Well said Capt. Ron!
Thank you to all Vets. It was an honor to serve with you for God and Country.

My dad has just spent a week in the VA hospital in Houston. While I was sitting with him in the ER, I was moved by the men and women that were there, some who had scars on the outside, but so so many that had scars on the inside. I once again thanked God for letting me live in the greatest country on earth, and for all the veterans that made it that way because of their sacrifice to their country. Thanks again to all you vets from the bottom of my heart.
PS... dad is hopefully getting out of the hospital today.
Jerry.. Thank you!
