Happy St Patrick's Day

I'm a bit late with this but I hope everyone had a nice St Patricks Day!
I had a great day.. sipped on a green beer and dined on the obligitory corned beef and cabbage (which I'm not even sure it has anything to do with St Patrick's Day).

For once I didn't take pics of the food. I figured everyone had a hunka corned beef on their plates today and mine was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. :)

Hope eveyone had a great day!

Having married into a big old Irish family, I can say that there is a right way and a wrong way to cook corned beef, and even when it's cooked the right way it still just rates a "meh" from me. You can only do so much with boiled meat. Now, perhaps if you rolled up some corned beef hash in a big old bacon laced fattie, that would be different!

Kirby I bet your family's corned beef is excellent! :)
A fattie stuffed with CB hash would be tasty... I wish I had made enough to have leftovers to do that..
I'll have to make another one. lol
Thanks!!
