Sometimes, when I have some "thinkin" to do... a short walk is in order.
I head to my favorite cottonwood tree....
I love the tree this time of the year... the leaves make good whistles and the seeds make good ammo.
The hackberry tree is still doing it's thing...
pouring around this old farm implement that was parked here ages ago...
My second favorite cottonwood tree... great for climbing, I think I need to put a rope swing on one limb.
The short walk was nice and took my mind off things for awhile.
A good friend is going through some rough times right now, any extra kind thoughts and prayers sent that way would be appreciated.

OMG what a beautiful place...great for walking and clear your mind...
You have my prayers. Beautiful land you have there
Val thank you so much.. I appreciate your kindness. It's been a rough couple of days.
Marc thank you!! I seem to be able to "think" while out there.. I guess because it's so peaceful.
Thank you Anonymous. I can't tell you how much your well wishes mean to me. Thank you for stopping by.
There's a couple limbs there that look good for a rope swing. :)
You know I am always praying, so it is no problem throwing in one for you and your friend.
Oh and BTW it works.

Great minds think alike I guess. I went for a little walk today too. Thought I would check out the creek and see if there is any sign of the mountain pine beatle in my pine trees yet. I hope things get better for your friend real soon Jeanie.
Wish you and your close-ones the best.

Sending positive vibes......
Those trees are beautiful. A good walk is like going fishing in that it puts things in perspective. God keep and bless you and your friend.
That tree is interesting. Just goes to show that you can't stay in one place too long....or a tree will grow around you, ha ha.
Linda that's what I was thinking too. Thanks
Jim.. (((HUG))) thanks
Mark that sounds like a nice walk. Was there any water in your creek?
I ended up going for an even longer walk yesterday... just got home this afternoon.
Thanks...

Thanks Mrs JP!
Chris you always make me smile.. thanks!!
I used to saddle-up and go for a ride with the dog(s) when I needed to "air out" my brain. Wishing you and your friend well from our corner of the world.
Prayer said. Peggy
May the Lord take your friend by the hand and give the guidance needed towards a brighter day.
Rick thanks. A long ride sounds good too.
Thank you Peggy, I appreciate that.
