I think I can hear the grass and trees sucking up the moisture. :)
If the weather were warmer I'd take my shoes off and climb in. :)
If you are interested in raising your own shrimp, canning, smoking and preserving your own meat, fishing or sitting around a good camp fire.....we might be related. :)

Silly girl, if you "were younger you would take your shoes off and climb in." Somehow I can picture you getting into that puddle no matter how old ya are. Remember, you are only as old as you feel and winter is over. So now we are all young again. I her the Midland and Odessa areas had baseball hail this evening. Nothing good comes out of that. You know, as terrible as your weather has been, ours the last 2 days has finally been decent. I started a 22 pound shoulder ham just before 2AM and it is about done finally. I'll bring it in, wrap it and then get up in a few hours, tuck it in the fridge then my wife can reheat it for dinner tomorrow. My camera won't click off of the preview function so I couldn't take a single picture for Smokin' Meat. Your weather today reaches us starting tonight about 3AM. Supposed to rain untul noon Monday. Take care of yourself.
lol David, if it were warmer I WOULD be in that puddle. :)
It has rained all day.. I love it! It's a nice slow rain with no wind.
So sorry to hear about the folks down south. Hail is no fun.
Bet that ham will be tasty! Hope you and family have a wonderful Easter. :)
I had a couple of serious bouts of hail blow through here at 3:00 am this morning, accompanied by some rain, but even the clouds were gone by 9:00... We need about 10 days of a good gentle but soaking rain to get back near to where we need to be.
Glad to see you got some help.
Shoot, sorry to hear about the hail Mark. Hope it didn't do any damage!
The rain has been falling for two days here. It's a nice gentle rain with no wind...seems to be soaking into the ground instead of running off. We really needed it!
Hope you get a nice rain soon too Mark!!
Thanks and take care. :)
