Hope all of my Okie and Texas friends are keeping out of harms way. The wildfires have been terrible the last few days.
I'm not sure how these fires were started but the area is so dry..... all it takes is one lit cigarette butt tossed out of a car window going down the highway and thousands of acres can burn.
Had a smaller fire west of me this week... luckily no ranch houses were damaged.
Brings back memories of my childhood. Hauling buckets of water and beating the grass fires out with a wet burlap sack. Doing anything to stop the fire until help arrived. :)
