The Simple Pleasures of Cowgirl's Country Life (by Ron)

Blogging friend Ron was kind enough to send this poem that he has written....
Thank you so much Ron, I appreciate the poem... You are very talented! :)

The Simple Pleasures of Cowgirl's Country Life (by Ron)

Far from the maddening crowd
With many pleasures are hers to be found
From the open, blue sky with its radiant sunsets
To the light from distant stars and moon
Are her constant companions always soon,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

Winter then the awakening of spring
A rebirth so wondrous and so welcoming
For a new primal season once again begins
Providing bountiful sustenance all
Surrounded by creatures big and small,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

Sharing the beauty of what she has learned
Close to the earth she lives that is confirmed
Never swaying from her stewardship given
Each day to enjoy in serenity certain
Waiting for the day to draw its unforgettable curtain,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

Thanks Rick, isn't Ron talented?

I had a great weekend... learned a few valuable lessons about snowballs, ducking, cigars and sparklers.

Hope you had a great weekend too! :)
