Armed and Dangerous

I can't believe it's that time of the year again! Time to torment unsuspecting friends....

with my Snowball Stash from January...

Should be an interesting 4th of July weekend....
Hope I can still outrun everyone. :)

Hope you enjoy:

The Simple Pleasures of Cowgirl's Country Life

Far from the maddening crowd
With many pleasures are hers to be found
From the open, blue sky with its radiant sunsets
To the light from distant stars and moon
Are her constant companions always soon,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

Winter then the awakening of spring
A rebirth so wondrous and so welcoming
For a new primal season once again begins
Providing bountiful sustenance all
Surrounded by creatures big and small,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

Sharing the beauty of what she has learned
Close to the earth she lives that is confirmed
Never swaying from her stewardship given
Each day to enjoy in serenity certain
Waiting for the day to draw its unforgettable curtain,
Oh, for the simple pleasures of Cowgirl's country life!

It is yours, now. Glad that you liked it. I enjoy reading your blog so we both benefit in the long run.

Between you and Chez today, you have kept me busy. I also did a short one for him about "Perrydize".

You both provide a lot of reading pleasure for many people. Keep up the good work.

Happy Fourth of July!

There's a word for people like you. Two words, actually: evil genius.

Heh, word verification is "appowe" -- the sound effect they'd use on the old Batman TV show for hitting someone with a 6-month-old snowball.

cowgirl said... are so kind!! Thank you for the poem, I appreciate it. :)
