Winter Weather

It sounds like a winter storm might be headed my way.
I've hauled extra round bales of feed for easy access.
Arranged water troughs, pans and grain closer to where I will need them.
Filled extra containers with water for myself too.
I always have plenty of canned and dry goods on hand, that's just part of country life..
I'm hoping for snow with no ice.

Hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Woohoo, I see snow angels in my future. :)

Sounds like you are ready to weather the storm. You get your heat back yet? Oh well you can always throw an other dog on the bed to keep warm.

cant believe you don't have gas yet!

I know Anonymous, it's been over a month now.
I have visions of the gas company owner and his family all snuggly warm in his house.... with not a concern in the world.

Things could be worse, my electricity could go out too. lol

I'm doing fine though... I'm a survivor. :)

Western PA is definitely chilly tonight. Our wind chills will be in the negatives tonight. No worries here though - I've got my wood stove chugging away :)

Stay warm!!

lol Mark, I'll poke him hard.
Looks like you are getting snow too?
I've got about a foot right now. It's hard to measure when the wind makes it drift.
I plan on checking out those snow flakes and make a snow angel. Even though my angel won't be as awesome as some I've seen. :)

Been busy today but hope to have fun tomorrow when the sun comes out.

Thanks Mark, hope you are keeping warm!

Wow this is a great site, i found it just pokin around while the snow was locking me in. we here in Tecumseh got over a foot of snow on top of 2 inces of ice. thanks for all the things you put on your blog, it really is a blast.

Thanks Anonymous! I'm glad you happened upon my blog, but sorry you are snowed in.
Hope the ice doesn't cause too much damage for you. 2 inches would be no fun at all. I know I'd rather get snow than ice.
Keep warm and Thanks!! :)

See Jeanie, you need to re-visit these posts when it's dry and hot like it has been there. Maybe you can psych yourself up into feeling a little cooler anyways. And BTW, you ARE a snow angel! ;)
