I heat the venison and thicken the broth...
Pan fried some of the okra from this summer's garden,
made a batch of cheesy biscuits
and finished the meal with some sweet cold peaches (to make me sweet)
The okra did make me think about my garden. I need to open my new seed catalogs and start day dreaming. :)

you don't need peaches to make you sweet, the big guy up stairs took care of that already!

If okra has got you thinking about a garden I wonder what cheesy biscuits make ya think of.
I already started my garden (well forest really) I planted 6 piñon pine seeds on the first of the year. Seedling are popping up! So in another dozen or so years I can get over $100 a pound for the pine nuts.
It's hard not to think garden as the seed catelogs come rolling in. I believe I'll take the summer off and give the soil (and me) a rest.
