Spatchcocked, Brined, Smoked Turkey with Sausage

I've been asked about a smoked turkey idea for upcoming Thanksgiving....
I'm hoping to spatchcock, brine and smoke another turkey this year. This is just my favorite way to smoke them. Also was requested by my deer hunting friends that will be here over the week.

Hope it turns out well for all who give it a go. :)

I already smoked one for the outdoor cooking guild pre-thanksgiving postings. Now I have a smaller one that I will beer butt, I am just too lazy to do the spatchcock thing.... maybe next year.

I did make your Spicy Smoked Garlic Chipotle Pork Buns last night with some leftovers... worked great

Cowgirl, you are amazing. I love your blog and your way of life. Hi Dave! I didn't know you frequented this fine blog :) I sent an email to outdoor cooking guild person about joining the ring and never heard anything back. How long do i need to be a blogger?

Racey, thank you!
I'm not sure about the Guild question. I know Curt keeps pretty busy, he'll probably get to you soon.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

I know what you mean Chris, there are so many options. I hope to use my drum again this year. :)

Thank you Velva! I hope to take pics again. Things get hectic with a house full of company, I know last year someone grabbed a hunk of turkey before I could get good pics. lol
Thank you for stopping by!
