Things I learned over the 4th of July weekend.

I'm still quicker on my feet than a lot of my friends. :)
I need to practice my ducking.
I shouldn't stay up til 3 a.m. two nights in a row.
A snowball takes 23 minutes and 14 seconds to melt while sitting on 120 degree F cement.
I'm not a gambler ( had no idea the snowball would take that long)

and the most important thing..... I think I need to get a life!! :)

Hope everyone had a good 4th!

lol Gene, I'm ready for a quiet week. :)
When I get in that late, I still have to get up early...the animals could care less if it's a weekend.
Good thing I don't do that often. lol

Jeanie,
Sounds like you had a great time over the weekend. Hopefully you hit your target more times than you got hit. Hopefully you didn't lose too much on your bet. Glad to hear your 4th went well.

Glad you had a great time! I did too! You would never believe it, by the night time on Fourth of July, we were all wearing sweatshirts!

You see, the fact that you're still learning lessons about yourself and your surroundings means you have a life. A good and blessed life.
I'm glad you had fun with the snowballs now lets get back to killing the spiders.
Ewwwww,,this a.m. I had a dead mouse on my sidewalk. An offering from the cat. I thought of you as I got a long stick to flip him away from my path!
