Cumuloconcrete :)

Growing up in the county as the daughter of a pilot, I learned a lot about clouds and the weather. I can still hear my dad's voice.... "Sweetie, when you become old enough to fly, avoid the cumulonimbus clouds. Never fly into one of these...think of them as concrete."

I couldn't get a good pic of the whole thing. The rest of the sky was a beautiful blue, the cloud looked like a giant space ship. :)

It's a spaceship hiding behind an artifical cloud, the spaceship is full of retired alien tourist and they are all taking digital photos and uploading them to their personal Galactic internet social networking site.

LOL Will!
I was afraid it could be something like that! lol
Just think, my face is probably plastered all over the retired alien galactic social networking site. :)

That is totally out of this world Jeanie, I have never seen anything quite like that. Was there any kind of a storm that came with that?

Hey Mark, good to see ya!
The storm was moving away from me.
I'm sure they got a good rain at least out of it.
I would have liked to have looked at that cloud from above. :)

Hope you're having fair weather up there!

Chris, I see a lot of interesting storms here. Makes me feel fairly insignificant at times. lol
Thanks!

Gene, thanks! The storms here are pretty awesome. I guess having so much open sky, it's fun watching them develop and change in just a few minutes. Some big mean storms can form right above your head in a short time. Keeps me on my toes during tornado season. lol

Those are some awesome pics Cowchick! I'm sure they do the real live view NO justice.

Thanks Mrs JP!
I did do some smoking in my smokehouse. A kind of variety of stuff. Hope to post some pictures of the stuff today. :)

Thank you Mr D! The storms are really amazing in person. :)

Thank you YD, I probably should have hopped into my pickup and driven a few miles west to get a better picture of the cloud. :)
