Sorry Paul!
I made a simple peach cobbler on the Memphis Pro.
To 8 cups of sliced peaches I added
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
2 TBs cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
and 1 cup of sugar.
Stir well and heat this until bubbly and thick...
for the top I combined 2 cups of flour with
2 TBs sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt
and 6 TBs of shortening
Mixed well then added
1 cup of milk.
I dropped the topping by spoonfulls onto the hot bubbly peach filling...
then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
I didn't time the cobbler, just let it brown a bit on top.
The breeze was just right....
I couldn't resist parking the hot skillet of peach cobbler on top of the old corner post.
The neighbor's ranch house .......(the clump of trees circled on the horizon)
Ha! Take that neighbor!
I'm so mean. :)
The hot peach cobbler drizzled with sweet cream and a sprinkle of fresh grated nutmeg...
I let out one of those whimpers when I took the first bite..... lol
It was kinda tasty!

lol Thanks Paul! Sorry it took so long. :)
This makes a large skillet full, you might want to cut the recipe in half.
Hope you like it Paul!
Yum, I grew up with a half dozen peach trees in the back yard. Probably my favorite fruit...but you need a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on it. ;)
Ron
Mmmm.. Ice cream would be tasty too. :) I imagine those homegrown peaches were great Capt. Ron! Wish I had fruit trees here...
Thanks :)
I showed this to my wife and now she wants to make this. Of course we need to grab some ice cream too! Great job again I would love to be your neighbor!!
Thank you BigTony! Please thank your Mrs for me too! :)
This makes a large batch.. I used a 12" skillet. Feel free to cut the recipe in half if needed.
I imagine the coyotes smelled the cobbler before my neighbors did. lol
Thanks again and good luck!
