That's one load of bull....

Time for this handsome fellow to move on to greener pastures.....

He enjoyed the long ride in the old stock trailer.... acted like he was ready to get away from the pastured cows for awhile. :)

Gave me a nice wet goodbye kiss....

He made a few circles in the new pen.....

gave me a quick goodbye glance....

and headed off to his new pasture...

Looking forward to seeing what kind of babies he throws. :)

All in a days work for Mr. Black Angus. And now he's on paid holidays. Wonder, where could I find a job like that? lol.

A new pasture with new girlfriends. I'll bet he's smilin'!
I always felt a momentary twinge of remorse when I would look at the empty pen after taking the pigs to the butcher.

He kind of looks like he is saying, "What, is this some kind of trick? Where's the hidden video cameras?"

Oh, they will be beautiful chocolate babies just like him. Unless, be still my heart, the mommas are Herefords! Then, maybe, cute little white-faced babies.
Happy New Year.

Rawtalent, I know what you mean... I get that twinge too. Something not right about having an empty pen. I always keep the gate closed on one anyway, whether there's a critter in the pen or not.. just habit. lol

Chris, I got that feeling from him too. He seemed not to believe his good fortune. :)
