not the best pics...
While feeding last night I noticed 6 whitetail moving through the pasture...
I stepped inside the house and grabbed my little camera then took these pics from the front porch.
deer season is still in full swing for me. I though about picking up my 30-30 instead of the camera, but passed. Still have a few more days to bring home winter meat.

I can see hunting at your place is pretty rough. Pick up gun, go to front porch, pull up rocker, open beer, prop up feet on porch rail, shoot deer when it wanders by. Now if only the dogs would go drag it in for you. :-)
Best of luck! I just had some fresh deer liver a couple weeks ago. My lord, the best EVER! Love deer! Don't forget to use the shins for braising into taco meat or birria!
Nice Pictures Jeanie but Ya grabbed the wrong camera. Ya need the one with the .270 win bolted to it. LOL
lol Larry, it would be nice if the dogs helped! :)
Thanks Jeffery!
Bet that fresh liver was great! Thanks for the reminder on the shins. I don't always save them but have some right now. I'll keep those tacos in mind.
Hope you're keeping warm up there! :)
lol Craig, I thought about it! The deer were out there again tonight.
Thanks Craig! :)
OK....So ya have deer grazing within shooting range of the front porch, indoor plumbing, nightly guitar pickin', story tellin', a pool table, plenty of "gourmet quality grub" and adult beverages. It sounds like a purdy dang nice deer camp to me. lol
How do I become a member?
Thanks for sharing another "sagebrush moment" with us.
Rick
lol Rick, bring your lawn chair, byob and bring ice. :)
Thanks!
LMAO over Larry's comment. Maybe you could just train them to jump into your meat freezer?
Hahaha Chris, That would be handy!
