I have also missed your posts.
I still love your site though because I can come here and reference how you have done things before. YUMMY for sure.
I have a YT channel and I know how hard it can become to make content. It is a lot of work for sure. So I appreciate you and I thank you for the work you have done.
Jim in Chile.

I have no doubts you'd never be in danger of starving! ;-) Good to see you back.

Hi Jeannie,
So glad you are doing well - I have missed reading your posts. Recently I have been spending a lot of time in Oklahoma (Atoka/Daisy area) for work. I have to say I really like your state. Where I'm working is quite beautiful and I love the wide open spaces. I like how friendly the people are and I like the way they think. The outdoor activities are endless. I have been able to do a bit of fly fishing here and it is among the best I've experienced anywhere. I have a friend here that has offered to let me hog hunt on his place and I can't wait to get after some. I'm thinking it might be a great place to retire

Jim, it's good to see ya! I didn't know you have a YT channel, I will look for it!
Hope things are going well for you and family. I wondered if you were still in Chile. I know you had a nice place and a lot going on there. I'm guessing you all are still raising your own food. Sounds like you've got a little slice of Heaven.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Wow! It's good to see ya Snailears! It's been years..
Do you still have that Ithica shotgun? It sounded like a nice one.
I'm so glad you are enjoying the state! It has it's pretty spots and quite a bit of wildlife. Great that you're getting in on some fly fishing! Hope the hog hunt pans out for you too.
The weather can get a bit crazy here but you get used to it. lol
Life has been good to me. The garden produced way more than I needed this year. I was able to stock the freezer with venison, quail, dove, fish and veggies. Did more canning than usual too. I can't complain. :)

So good to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Yep still have the Ithaca - it will never leave the family - too many hunts and too many memories of ours alone (not to mention those that were made before the gun made it my way). She now has a little brother a 16 gauge. Although he's not a snailear he's good looking for a field gun and has proven his worth hunting GA quail and dove in PA.

That's great, Snailears! I'm sure you're making some amazing memories with the new 16 gauge... Sounds like fun. lol
I gave myself two Henrys for my last 2 birthdays. Nothing like a new rifle to make a person happy. :)
Hope you're having a nice week!
