Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope everyone has a great St Patrick's Day... remember to wear your green.

I've been busy with company since Friday.
What started out as a friend coming up to spend the week with me has snowballed...

Hearing that she was on her way, another friend said "I want to come too!"...then another and another. My house guest count is up to 17.
The original visitor had first choice on a bedroom.....the rest have had to use floor space and sleeping bags. Some brought tents.

The past 6 days have been fun... lots of food, drink and laughter.
5 guests went home yesterday and 3 more left this morning. That leaves a head count of 9 for the rest of the week.
Funny how nine guests doesn't seem like much now. :)

That sounds like one hell of a party! I'm guessing everyone left weighing about 5 extra pounds. Wish I were there.... I can't wait to see all of the pictures and hear all of the tales of all the bacon wrapped meals consumed!!

lol Dave...Thanks! :)

I've been cooking for days but haven't taken many pictures. I guess I don't think about it when there is a hungry crowd gathered around. lol
Last night was bacon wrapped everything night though. Smoked ribs and chicken with bacon wrapped abts and bacon wrapped corn on the cob.
There are three more guitar players here so I've spent a lot of time playing my guitar... it's been fun. :)

Things that just happen spur of the moment like that seem to end up being the best times

Thanks about being nice too...I'm sure you are just as nice as me. :)

Wow, you are the ultimate hostess with the mostest!! Before the group even got there JP would have found me in a corner babbling incoherently.

lol Mrs JP! I'm glad company has been pitching in and helping out.
10 days of company is a bit much for anyone. lol

Haha Buddy!! I think people would rather go to Florida for a gathering. :)

LOL, you don't sound much like a hermit to me Jeanie. Glad to see the head count went down to a little bit more managable amount for ya though. See, thats what you get for being such a good hostess and cook. Sounds like you had a good time though. Happy St. Patricks day Jeanie.

lol Mark, I am pretty busy for being a hermit. Kind of like when your quad friends come over. lol :)
Thanks for the nice compliments Mark, hope you had a Happy St Patrick's day too. :)

Well girl sounds like there is only one thing to do. All of ya pile into cars and head this way. My lagoon backed up and I worked all afternoon on it. Back at it tomorrow and I'll probably have to pull a backhoe into the project. Its 30 years old, so I would say its time. The nine of ya aren't having any fun down there anyhow are ya? Just joking, enjoy your company and try to have some fun. Don't forget your tractor wheel fire ring.

Hey David, I'll load them right up and send them your way. lol
Sounds like you are having a great day. Hope things improve for you tomorrow.
We've put the tractor rim to good use this week. :)

Thanks David. :)

lol Rocco! I can only handle so many days of partying. Yesterday was the first time in years I didn't want a green beer on St Patties day. lol
