Sometime a long time ago someone had used small trees as fence posts for barbed wire. the trees grew around and the barbed wire is now in the middle of the trees. I keep the horses close to the house when riding and out in the big pasture when I'm not using them.

It's kind of pretty out there, I do see the occasional snake though. :)cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02516076315691432589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1516940939413771830.post-14713321095294249252009-05-07T10:03:00.000-05:002009-05-07T10:03:00.000-05:00wow,,,that's a cool place. I'd be tempted to make it a hangout like for campfires...except that now that I think about it there are probably snakes all up in there. I'm freakishly phobic about snakes,,JP knows I can't even see them on TV w/o my skin crawling.
But,,it really is a neat place.Mrs. JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05141245412356555999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1516940939413771830.post-19887392302824115122009-05-07T08:55:00.000-05:002009-05-07T08:55:00.000-05:00Thanks Mark,

Sure looks old.
There are a lot of hackberry trees down here. They have little berry like things on them but I don't think they are edible.
