Grilled Marrow Bones with Parsley Salad

I was able to try out a new grill from the Char-Broil company recently. It's a nice little gas grill, just the right size for camping or for table top grilling.  It's a Char-Broil TRU Infrared Grill 2 Go, runs on those little green propane bottles. VERY easy to set up and nice & light for me to carry.

For my first cook, I grilled up some marrow bones (my favorite snack) and topped the treat with fresh parsley salad.

The grill worked perfectly, was easy to use and easy to fold away when through cooking. I'm going to love this thing!  If you get the time, please check out the recipe and post on the Char-Broil Live site...

Thanks!

Spring is in full swing here. The pastures are still brown and dry but the cows are calving and I have new baby chicks and ducks.
Spent last week in Texas on a spur of the moment trip. Everything looked so green and lush down there. I almost hated to leave. :)
Hope everyone is doing well and having a nice week!

As a kid Jeanie, I frowned upon marrow. But, at a more advanced age, I know the pleasures of sucking the marrow out of a bone. This application looks pretty good.

Now that is something I never heard of. Grilled marrow bones?
I'll try to remember to check the other post later.

They do look good. Have a blessed Sunday!

It was a good article.

So you scrape the inside of the bone out and then spread it on the bread, with the salad stuff?

Looks really good. Thanks again.

Thank you Linda! I appreciate you checking out my post. Yes the marrow is removed with a spoon and spread onto the toast like butter then topped with the parsley salad. The combination is so tasty. :) Hope you give it a try sometime!
Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend! :)

Thank you Mrs JP! I really like the new little grill, it's light weight too.
I spent a week in the Dallas area and have been busy with the baby chicks, ducks and cows.
I had a new baby white faced calf this week and though of you! lol
Hope I get pics of it soon to post.

I don't even know what cut of meat that little round bone was in, but I always used to eat the marrow out of it. It was like a delicacy to me. I hav'nt seen one for years now.
