A little deer camp fun

I enjoyed deer camp this year.   hmmmm, guess I do every year.
This is what the women do when the men are out hunting. :)

One of our "finger food" meals.

Pudding shots and jello shots were made in advance to "chill".

My first taste of Chocolate alcohol infused whipped cream...
it was pretty tasty stuff!

jello shots...

 prepped some calf fries ...

We needed cracker crumbs.
I could have brought out the food processor but where's the fun in that!

This was actually a lot quicker... :)

we made several batches, next time I'll get a box for each tire. :)

dipped the fries in an egg milk bath and rolled them in the cracker crumbs...

set up a table in the old shop..

used my new double burner cooker that I use for things like chicharonnes   .

we fried the calf fries...

seasoned french fries...
I like them seasoned with fish fry mix.

boiled a few spicy shrimp and corn on the cob...

Finger food.....

We played a few games of pool this year too.  The old table was almost level!

Had a fun week, looking forward to next year. :)

I love your ingenious method of creating cracker crumbs! I'll remember that next time I need some.
Also, I have to admit, I didn't know what calf fries were and had to look it up. :) I'm from the country myself but was ignorant about that!

Thank you Bill! The pudding shots do have pudding. I didn't watch her make them so I don't have the recipe. I could get it for you if you want. They were pretty tasty. :)
