My Easter Egg

Even though I only made one Easter egg this year... it took longer to make than the Easter eggs I made the last 2 years..
Easter Eggs

I thought about making a batch of them but what the heck, I didn't want to eat that many....So I made one, took a pic and ate it for supper. :)

I have no plans for Easter tomorrow but will probably go for a long walk at one of my favorite places. I was out there last weekend looking for morels but had no luck. I think it still might be too early for them

I will remember to wear jeans instead of shorts next time ..... or take a different path!

The creek is dry...

I stopped by the little lake on my way home, just to see if they were bitin'. :)
This is my new fancy rod holder. A piece of threaded pipe nipple welded onto a metal strap. Works great. :)

I actually caught a few fish while there and really enjoyed the evening..

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter!
Remember to give your loved ones extra hugs and kisses while you have them cornered. :)

I like your eggJeanie. Gotta say it's not exactly as the folks of Vegreville, Alberta would do it, but it is nice. lol. Also like your fishing rod holder, looks pretty simple yet practical. Have a nice Easter Jeanie.

Hey Mark, Thanks! The egg didn't last long, after all that work I was hungry. lol Did you make eggs this year? :)

I did make eggs this year Jeanie, alot of them. This morning I made 4 of them scrambled. It was a real pretty thing, kinda Eastery, all them eggs busted up in the frying pan and I decorated them with a little salt and pepper. I usually only have 2 or 3, but I was out of bacon so I had to make up for it. My eggs ar'nt coming from the chicken house like yours though, I gotta get em from the grocery store yet. But one day Jeanie, you believe that I will be gathering my own eggs right from my own little ladies, and I might even find some time to decorate them with more than just salt and pepper sometimes too. I can't wait to see your Easter eggs next year Jeanie. lol. They are very special to me.

I was just checking out your place. It really looks good Mark. I remember when you lived in town. The things you have accomplished are amazing...
Good to see you made it through winter too.
Thanks again Mark! :)
