Spring must be here...

My thoughts have turned to fishing, gardening, baby chicks and travel... (I'm overdue for a vacation).

I made it out to one of my favorite "hang out" spots. The fish weren't biting....

but it really didn't matter.
The afternoon was relaxing!

Wow! Fish not biting is no big deal with wonderful surroundings like that!

Your not the only one who is due for a vacation Jeanie. Good idea. I think I just might have to have a short one soon, then get right serious about getting the house done. Then possibly the longer more permanent vacation can slowly take place from there. See, your putting good ideas in my head this morning. You really know how to live Jeanie. I'll be following in your footsteps soon.

Hi Joe! Hope winter treated you well. :)
I think spring finally made it here.
That's one of my favorite places to relax.... when the farm gets too noisey. :)
Hope you had a great weekend.
Thanks! :)

Mark you deserve to take a vacation. I know you work hard at work and then work hard on your house too.
Can't wait to see the place when you get it finished. It's really looking nice.
Maybe you'll have time to do some 4wheeling and canoeing soon. :)
Thanks Mark, nice to see ya.

I have been visiting a local "pond" where they plant rainbow trout with the same result "no bite". It doesn't have a nice view and sometime there is a bunch of folks there, but it is still nice to get away.
Have a good week.

Hi Jeanie how's everything going? Yea i"m still kicking lol. I haven't took time to make comments on your blog but I have been so buisey lately! My sow's had their litters. One sow got mixed up and tried to help the other sow nurse her pigs! Yea that got crazy! My wife ordered baby chicks not such a big deal except she ordered 110 of them! needless to say i had to build a bigger brooder for them. A nd the list go's on! I have been keeping up with your blog. The bacon burgers were my favorite! I like the simple things in life. Well enough said for now. Hope you have a blessed day Jeanie your friend Mark :)
