Wannabe Chef and the Best Food Weblog Site

Kind friend Wannabe Chef at the Cast Iron Cookin' Blog mentioned that he had nominated my blog for a food blog award.

his words...
"I just had to tell you that I just put in a nomination for you at the the bloggies web awards under best food blog I hope that all your regular visitors will go and put in a nomination too http://2011.bloggi.es/ lets get cowgirl some heavy recognition.
sorry here is the correct link for this year
Best Food Weblog"

That was VERY kind of you Wannabe Chef. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. My blog is small beans compared to most cooking blogs, so this is a real honor. Thanks for thinkin' of me. :) (((HUGS)))

Jeanie, your blog might be "small beans compared to most cooking blogs" but the cooking you do rocks! The stuff you come up with is always a winner! The best thing I like about it is you don’t need the fancy cooking tools etc! A lot of it can be cooked with the basics! (Fire and cast iron!) Sorry it’s been a while since I commented, Deer and Elk season you know! But I’m all caught up now!

Chris Thanks, it's good to see ya!! I'm definately not a fancy cook. (or a fancy woman lol) I enjoy the simple things in life.

Hope you filled your deer and elk tags! I made some venison pastrami the other night that was pretty tasty.
Being a hunter, you might have made it before... it's one of my favorite ways to cook deer. :)

Good to see ya and thanks again Chris!

Jeanie i've got two questions what's a URL and what's that image under my date and time my comment was sent? Ya'll don't laugh i'm not very smart when it comes to computers! :)

Hi Mark! An url is the address of a site. It's the http://blablabla part at the top of your computer screen.
If you right click it while it's blue, you can hit "copy" then hit "paste" where you want to put the address.
(hope that makes sense.) I'm not a puter person either!

The little thing by your post is a trash can. You can delete your post. I think! lol Not really sure about it though.
Hope you are having a great day Mark! :)

And I will do it every year you are here until you get it too. I aspire to have half the outdoor cooking skill you have your site is a real inspiration for me my wife will tell you I keep going on about building a smokehouse and this might be the year cause now the wife and I are both fully employed and have a little bit extra to put into the homestead.

Thanks Cowgirl :) By the way now I have to post more frequently you have sent more traffic to my blog in a few days than I have seen in the last 4 months.
