Looks like winter is on the way!

It's been raining most of the day, followed by sleet and snow. The much needed moisture is nice. :)
Hope everyone in the path of the storm will stay safe and warm.

I think I'm prepared.
The animals come first, they have plenty of feed and fresh water.

As usual, the "kid" inside of me comes out. I feel a bit of excitment when I think about the snow. Tonight's dreams will be filled with visions of killer snow angels, tasty snow ice cream and of course humongus snowballs for the 4th of July....

I'm ready! :)

I'm jealous! Was hoping this storm would turn to snow for us, but we just had rain down here (SW OK). Guess I shouldn't complain after this summer...stay warm & enjoy it! :)

Hi Kitchen Vignettes, the snow icecream is made with fresh eggs, sugar, vanilla and snow. I have the recipe posted around somewhere. lol

So far we're in the rainy portion which my dear departed Grandma is just "dreary weather but I guess we'll take it!"
