My Contribution to Superbowl Finger food

I know... I made this last year. lol I had a request to do it again...

I drizzle the corn with olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt and cracked black pepper then wrap in bacon.

Make sure the bacon covers as many of the kernals as you can.. it keeps the corn moist.

Sprinkle with more pepper...

my new potatoes, smoked sausage, onion, garlic, fresh lemons and cayenne peppers..

I also season the pot with kosher salt, liquid crab boil and a bit of Old Bay seasoning.

I want just enough seasoned water to cover the potatoes. I give them a head start since they will take the longest..
I put them into my drum smoker at 250 degrees F with a bit of hickory.

when the potatoes are almost tender I add a few crawdads....

shrimp..

and I set the snow crab legs on top...

anything in the seasoned water will be spicy, anything sitting on top will take on the smoke flavor.

I give the pot a quick stir...

heat up some garlic bread and one sacrificial spam on the Memphis Pro...

Ready to take inside...

The bread had a nice "crunch" to it...

The sacrificial spam with a coating of brown sugar, cayenne and whiskey...

(it didn't last long) lol

The smoked crablegs, bacon wrapped corn, spicy shrimp, crawdads, smoked sausage and potatoes...

The finger food went well with the garlic bread and cold beer.

I'll probably make this again next year. lol

Gonna have to give the bacon wrapped corn a try this weekend. Crawfish look fantastic. Hoping for some warm weather here so I can get me some mudbugs. Prices are a bit high for me and too cold to catch them myself.
