Just a steak

It's been awhile since I posted any cooking shots or recipes...
After the 10 days of company, I caught a cold and haven't been up to much at all.

This was a huge ribeye, and no I couldn't even eat half of it... but it tasted soooo goood after several days of not being able to eat. :)

I'm ready to get out and start smoking and grilling again.

Dang it Dave, I'm not sure how you have gone so long without a grill.
4 more months is a long time! lol
Hope all is going well with you. :)

Wow, that steak is huge, it looks more like a roast! I'm glad you feel better.

lol It was huge Mrs. JP! The plate is 10" in diameter. I did try to finish the steak the next day, but still couldn't eat all of it.

Thank you! :)

Just a steak? Are you kidding me? Saying that was just steak is like saying you are just a girl. You are "Cowgirl".

Please tell me it was grass fat! Gotta admit I miss the grass fat beef I used to eat up in ND.(Where there is a pretty woman behind every tree.) Betchya there is at least one tree on your ranch.

The potato and salad don't look to shabby either.

So now you're out playing in the creek and gatherin' wild mushrooms.... I am envious. Glad you are feelin' better.

Sorry you're ailing, but that good looking hunk of beef should help.

lol Marc...Thanks! :)

It's grass raised beef....but grained out in the end for marbling. lol

Hope all is well with you!

The outing did a world of good. :)

Larry, thank you! I'm feeling a lot better. I do think that protein helped. :)

Huge? You think that was huge? Looks almost like a roast from here. Nothing like a good old ribeye to pull ya up from sickness to get ya back on your feet. Thankfully, ya had the perfect looking potato to go with it. Gotta get better. Spring is here ya know. Time to mend the fences and watch out for the twisters now.

lol David, it was pretty big. :)

I agree with you, it's time for fence mending and sky watching.
Hope all is well in Kansas.
Good to see ya!
