Hanging Out in the Pasture

I check the horses, cattle and the windmill everyday. Yesterday the air was cool and crisp, but the sunshine felt wonderful. :)

The critters have nice winter coats...

The horses enjoyed soaking up the warm sunshine....

It was a beautiful day....

Just as when I see a nice big hickory tree I picture a couple of cords of good firewood, I see the pic of your cattle and see a nice porterhouse or a smoked prime rib roast as you did recently!

Those pics sure show some wide open land. Are there any trees out there other than the ones shown in the pictures surrounding your house/barn?

Hi Nate!
Yes, there are a few trees out here. Mainly along the rivers and creeks... but there are a few scattered around.
Cottonwoods, hedge, chinese elm, hackberry, locust, russian olive...to name a few. :)

I think the cottonwoods are my favorite. :)

I still can't get over how flat it is there. The picture of the windmill is very nice.
